John was one of the players former manager Paul sturrock brought to the club from his old team St. Johnstone. John was signed in February 2000 for a nominal fee as he was out of cintract in the Summer.

Highly regarded by his former manager John has struggled to find his feet and his form at Tannadice. An attacking full back with a good burst of pace, we are hoping he can rediscover the form that made him such a warm favourite with the St. johnstone faithfull.

As the disappointing season continues John is beginning to look more like the player we hoped he was when he signed. Let's hope his progress continues in the coming months.
